84 The New Home

Flora and Kelvin had just finished packing the rest of clothes to their spots. They were excited to finally relax and enjoy some time away from their busy schedules and they were in the middle of gist in Flora's sitting room, Flora's phone suddenly rang, breaking the peaceful atmosphere. Flora glanced at the screen and saw that it was Jackson calling. She hesitated for a moment before answering "Hello?" she answered. "Hey, sis!" came Jackson's cheerful voice through the phone. "How's everything?" Flora smiled, "All good, Jacks. Just getting things sorted." There was a pause on the other end, then Jackson's tone turned concerned. "I swung by the hotel earlier. They said you've moved out. Everything alright?" Flora took a deep breath as she was grateful about Jackson's concern. "Yeah, I've been planning this for a while. You know, new beginnings and all." Jackson let out a relieved sigh. "That's a relief. I was worried I might have caused some trouble."
