As Carl drove down the street, his son Jay seated beside him, Finally, unable to contain his thoughts any longer, Jay.couldn't help but voice his frustration.
"Dad, how is it even possible for you not to have a single relative? Not even one. It just doesn't seem real," he said, his tone filled with disbelief.
Carl sighed softly, his grip tightening slightly on the steering wheel. "I know it might seem strange, Jay, but sometimes life deals us unexpected hands and I have told you I am readily available when the time comes" he replied, his voice tinged with a hint of melancholy.

"But what about Sarah? She's been asking about meeting your family. It's embarrassing not to have anyone to introduce her to," he admitted, frustration creeping into his voice.
