Ian was about to ask for more details when a loud crash echoed from outside. Flickering lights danced outside the window. Ian walked over to take a look and saw villagers, some carrying torches and others holding lanterns, banging on drums and cymbals as they called out loudly. In no time, a large crowd of villagers had gathered, all heading in the same direction. Walter stood up as well. "Let's go join them!" There was a faint trace of excitement in his voice, and even his usually pale face showed a tinge of flushed enthusiasm.
