Mia gently tugged Madison's pants. "Are you feeling sad, Madison?"
Madison shook her head. "Not at all."
Mia scrunched up her face. She could sense people's emotions. Just now, Madison seemed a bit down, but not too much. She felt she might have gotten it wrong. Even though she'd been dead for decades, she still thought like a child.
After moving past it, Mia brushed those thoughts away and cheerfully looked around.
Startled, she screamed in fear and hid behind Madison, then peeked out at the dashing Sebastian. "Do you have a kept man in your room, Madison? I mean, kept ghost."
Hearing that, Madison started blushing. "You don't know what you're talking about! Stop talking nonsense!"
Mia didn't like being seen as naive. "I'm not making things up. Even though I'm young, I have seen a lot."
Madison choked on her spit and covered Mia's mouth with her hand. "What are you babbling about?"
Sebastian, who had been keeping an eye on them, took a step back. He was relieved he was a ghost
