Writer's POV An hour later, the cell gate opened and a guard walked in, kicking Serena in the foot and snapping her out of her daydream where she was free and loving with her brother in a cute home. "Hey, stand up." The guard said again, and she turned to him almost tempted to glare at him. "Go out, the king wants you in his chambers." He said, moving out of the way as she walked out of the cell and out of the basement. Almost bumping into Adam, she staggered backwards, pain accelerating her neck from her sharp movements. She looked up at him and his eyes glanced so quickly at her neck before glaring at her, pushing himself off the wall, he stood in front of her, towering over her like everyone else. "Come here." Adam said, not giving her a chance to respond, he grabbed her hand. He opened a door and pushed her in before shutting it.
