Chapter 40

As he entered the hallway, he could see Teddy's head in their cubicle, on the phone, gesticulating wildly and pacing in the small space. Smith didn't think he was ready for that show just yet tht morning. On a good day, the talks about divorce and alimony and all of that thing Teddy always had to quarrel about could amuse him, in fact, he on some days woke up looking forward to those phone calls that would make him happy his life wasn't as complicated as that of his partner. But that morning, he could see himself getting pissed off if the big man did not sit down and quit pacing the small space or shouting on the phone. Deciding he could certainly make better use of his morning than listen to his partner rant with his ex wives and girlfriends and mean sister on the phone, he went directly into the interrogation room. The technician gave him a quick wave and an "Hello"and buzzed him in. He was glad the man made it easy, he was not in the mood for small talks that morning, as a matter o
