Sadie was clearly dissatisfied with Stephen's dismissive attitude.
But Stephen just smiled and said in a serious tone, "Sadie, I was just wondering how I could make such a basic mistake by writing the wrong chemical symbol. It looks like you must've stolen it!"
It was a pun.
Sadie was stunned for a moment, but when she realized what he meant, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue.
Compared to most girls who were more reserved, Sadie had a bold personality and quickly burst out laughing again with her signature squeal.
"Stephen, you're too much! You've really got me!"
Watching this exchange, Natasha felt a pang of jealousy. Stephen had never said anything playful like that to her.
