"This isn't good. Look at that... the saint's skin is cracking," Faith said suddenly, her voice laced with tension.
Wyatt's gaze snapped to the ancient relic. Sure enough, a deep fissure had appeared across the withered skin, even after it had just annihilated the black demon. The crack was stark and ominous, as though the skin could fall apart at any moment.
"Even something as powerful as a saint's relic can't escape the erosion of time," Zarian muttered, shaking its head in awe.
Wyatt frowned. "And if it breaks completely? What happens then?"
"That seal will collapse, and the Primordial Titan will rise," Zarian replied gravely.
Faith didn't hesitate. "We have to stop this now. If we can destroy the altar, we might still have a chance!" With that, her figure blurred as she darted toward the altar.
