Cassie is still on the run after killing the man who wanted to assault her. She had run out of the stall that night with no hope of where to go but she kept running, having in mind that she was running from two different people now. Her previous abductors and the villagers might come after her when they find out what she had done. She was still filled in fear of what she had done to the man, never had she imagined she could do something like that. It all felt absurd to her as she kept replaying the scene in her head. The sudden surge of power she felt coursing through her enabled her to overpower him and pin him down right where he had pinned her. The image of how his veins throbbed against his neck and how it felt so inviting that she had to lean in and bite it open, how she had easily bitten him and also sucked him dry. She was almost going crazy with the thought. The thought of her being a monster. What scared her most was the thought of what he would have done to her had she
