Deak’s head swung to the left as he took the hit from his opponent to the right side of his jaw. Deak smiled. The pain numbed him from the voices trying to take over. There was only silence as he took hit after hit, pretending to let the fighter think he had the upper hand. Little did he know Deak was learning his strengths and weaknesses to utilize them and take him down just when his opponent thought he was going in for the win. His wolf, Malakai, was enjoying every minute of it. If only he could shift, it would make his wolf even happier.
