Chapter 63: What Should She Do?
"Bye, Miss Miller, don't forget to do your task, tell Lendon to come in that place," Joyce winked before she left.
"Miss Miller, do you really want Mr. Martin to go?" Curtis asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I lost the game," Kendra threw the note into a dustbin immediately, "Curtis, please don't tell him what happened today. Lendon will get mad,"
"Are you sure, Miss Miller?" Curtis followed her.
"If I tell him the truth, it will be worse." Kendra gravely said. She knew Lendon well, and she was sure about it. She could make an excuse and take Lendon there.
"But..."
"It's fine." Kendra patted Curtis's shoulder and said, "As long as we don't tell him, he won't know."
Curtis just nodded even though he was afraid of the outcome.
After an hour, Lendon finally finished his meeting. It was almost sunset when he returned to Kendra.
Kendra was sitting in the chair and absorbed with her thoughts on bringing Lendon to the hotel that Joyce was written on the note.
