Chapter 12: Did She Really Consider Him As A Devil?
Kendra stood in front of Lendon's study room. It was Kendra's first shift. She knocked on the door nervously.
"Come in," Lendon's voice sounded.
Kendra walked in and saw Lendon sitting in front of his computer. It seemed that he was having a virtual meeting. He didn't throw any glance at Kendra. Instead, he just stared at his laptop and kept talking.
Kendra didn't dare to disturb Lendon, so she walked to the corner and started cleaning the huge wall of books.
Lendon's voice was so charming, and his accent sounded nice, so Kendra smiled while listening to him. She knew Lendon has a huge responsibility, but this has been the first time she saw how busy he was.
Lendon seemed really swamped. He finished a meeting and began another one immediately. It appeared to be an internal meeting.
"Your project and proposal were garbage. It's bullshit! Redo it!" Lendon shouted in anger suddenly, "I pay you to work for me, not for fun. If you can't do the job, just quit." He was totally different
