Sam Benson sat in his office at home, his jaw clenched with frustration as he dialed Chloe's number for the umpteenth time. He cursed under his breath when her first number went straight to voicemail, his anger simmering beneath the surface. Refusing to give up, he tried another number, his pulse quickening with anticipation as he waited for a response. Finally, the call connected, and he wasted no time in launching into a tirade. "Chloe!" he barked, his voice laced with fury. "What do you think you're doing blocking my number?" There was a moment of silence on the other end before Chloe's voice came through, sharp and biting. "What do you want, Sam?" she snapped, her tone dripping with disdain. “Sam? Is that how you address your father?” Sam scolded. “You actually think of yourself as a father? If someone was not careful, they might mistake you for a human trafficker who sells his daughter for a business deal,” Chloe answered. She held a lot of resentment towards her father. After
