Chapter 42: Personally Welcoming

Nancy couldn't remember what else Daniel said, but she knew he would arrange a team consultation and keep an eye on her grandfather's heart condition at all times. He did all this not because of her, but because of Blanche. The only thing she remembered Daniel saying at the end was, "She's so kind-hearted, she's already feeling extremely guilty. I can't let her continue to feel ashamed." It was just almost causing someone's death, which in Daniel's eyes wasn't a big deal. Nancy left the company in a daze and went straight to the hospital. The doctor happily told her that a team of specialists from out of town would come tomorrow to consult with her grandfather. Nancy just mechanically nodded. She knew that as long as Daniel promised, he would definitely help. After all, he had to pay for Blanche's mistake.
