Chapter 231: Doubt
As Evans and Natalie parted ways for the evening, a sense of unease settled over him like a shroud.
"Goodnight, Natalie," he said, his voice tinged with concern.
"Goodnight, Evans," she replied softly, a hint of uncertainty in her tone.

With a heavy heart, Evans sank onto the couch, the weight of his emotions threatening to overwhelm him. "I know I have to find a way to quell my doubts, to prove to Natalie once and for all that I'm worthy of her love."
