Chapter 134: The call
Greg sat in his small apartment, the dim light casting long shadows across the walls. He stared at his phone, his thumb hovering over the accept button. The caller ID flashed Ethan's name, a name he hadn't heard in months. With a sigh, he finally pressed accept and brought the phone to his ear.
"Hey, Ethan," Greg said, trying to keep his voice steady despite the turmoil raging inside him.
"Greg, thank god you answered," Ethan's voice came through the line, filled with desperation. "I need your help, man. It's Natalie... she's gone."
