"Ah..." Ruby's knees throbbed with pain, her face glistening with sweat. She took a shaky breath, her body trembling slightly as the intense ache brought tears to her eyes. Michael’s long strides quickly closed the distance between them. Concern flickered in his deep eyes, though his voice carried a firmness as though he was trying to stay composed. His strong arms reached out to help. "Why are you always in such a rush, Ruby?" Ruby sharply pulled her hand away, her brows furrowed in pain and anger. "This is none of your business!" Her voice was laced with irritation, but the faltering grip on her emotions betrayed the depth of her discomfort. She stumbled forward, her steps unsteady. Michael paused for a moment, his fist clenching slightly. If he hadn’t held her back earlier, would she have fallen? Was it her stubbornness or his insistence that led to this? Seeing her losing balance, Michael exhaled deeply and pulled out his phone. His voice was cold and firm. "There’s a girl in a gra
