Ruby calmly informed Michael, "Don't you recognize him? He's Daniel, who was at that jewelry show." Michael Carter remembered the man. His intentions were always evil, and he always had his eyes on Ruby. Ruby did not refuse the kind of man who liked to prey on women, and she even promised to meet Daniel at home at eight in the evening. "Can't you see his intentions?" Michael said, voice full of concern. "Mr. Carter, this design draft is worth a seven-digit amount. I can't just let it go that easily," Ruby replied calmly. "So why not take another design draft?" Michael suggested a compromise. "No, that won't happen. This is my order, and I want to carry it out myself," Ruby said firmly. Then she pointed to the door and said, "Mr. Carter, you may leave now. I have work to do.” Michael tried one last time and said, "Ruby, when you get hurt, that's when you'll regret it, right?” "That's my job, and it has nothing to do with you," Ruby replied indifferently. Everything Ruby said made Michae
