Jilliana laughed arrogantly through the phone. "Enrica, who do you think you are? You thought if you didn't help me, I'd be out of options? Let me tell you something—so long as I have money, there are plenty of people lining up to do me favors. Got it? I only came to you because I was being generous. "But since you've already thrown that chance away, there's nothing left to talk about." And with that, she hung up. Enrica stood on the side of the street in a daze. She felt lost.
