Chapter 78
VIOLET’S POV
I was back on the floor, running back to the images of the places we had followed while Aurora was driving me to the Rogue King’s terrain. One of the traits that made me an outstanding tracker and hunter when I needed to be was my ability to memorize map areas, whether on the field or on paper.
And I could remember that the first few times Bayne had offered to train me when I first arrive Red Dawn, he was highly impressed with my skill. I was apparently better at map reading than some, if not most of his men. And he made sure everyone knew about it on the training camp.
And if not for the times the mate bond caused me to give out the wrong answers – Bayne made it his duty and he went out of his way to flirt with me distracting me – I would have aced every last one of his tests.
