Chapter 81 - Confusion

SERENA'S POV "Wow! I really have to say Olivia is appealingly attractive, I mean pulling that caliber of man in just a few days? She must be a magnet, with so much force." As I spoke, I observed Damien's expression from the side of my eye. We were in the car, on our way home. And it somehow felt like I had been chattering too much, of course because Damien had been usually silent. He seemed very focused on the road, extremely focused it seemed suspicious. But I wasn't going to cause a need for an argument, neither was I going to ask him what was wrong. Besides, he was sleeping over. We'd have a time, I thought to myself pleasantly as the car pulled up in front of my apartment. As he alighted from the car, I immediately assumed he was turning over to get the door for me, just like every other time. But to my greatest surprise, he started for the door. "Babe!" I exclaimed as I pushed the car door open. He turned immediately, looking somewhat startled as he wa
