Serena had almost made me lose my cool in the midst of all of those important people who as at should be known, were also potential business prospects as well. I do not think I had recovered as we both made sure to not be seen in public for the months that followed that night. I did it for my business and reputation, as well as to punish her for doing what she did. But anyone who has been in a relationship with someone that they love should know this about it. No matter how bad the disagreement would go, no matter how hard the conflict, lovers would always find a way to build a bridge across any troubled water that separates them.
