CHARLES POV. Just after my loss to Damien, the auctioneer announced something again. "Alright Ladies and Gentlemen, this auction should have ended there, but we just happened to have gotten a new auction. A land contract." He announced. My eyes lit up immediately and I turned to Olivia, my voice low and urgent. "Bid on it," I urged her. "This is a golden opportunity." I added. Olivia's eyes met mine, a storm brewing in their depths. "No, Charles. I won't." She said, her voice firm, leaving no room for argument. My eyes narrowed slightly as I felt a surge of frustration. It was bad enough that I had lost the Ruby crown to Damien, I didn't want to lose the land contract as well. "Is this about loyalty? Or is it about him?" I pressed, my words sharp as knives and I heard Olivia gasp. "What the hell do you mean?" She asked. "Olivia, your actions are making me question your loyalty to our partnership. Is it that you do not want to see us grow? Or you are only
