Chapter 80
"Come on Anna," Mitch spoke after a while and seemed to be waiting for me. We went down together and Diego and Elsa went home first. You and I quietly wait for a ride from outside the building. Later on, Mitch's pick-up came and offered me to go along but I refused because I was shy, they might be further away because of me.
I waited a few more minutes to wait for the rain to subside but the result was the opposite of what I expected happened because the rain poured even harder and it seemed that it didn't want to send me home.
Because of the force of the rain, I couldn't see the passing cars anymore and I couldn't even see the taxis that I wanted to take. After a while, I was surprised when a car suddenly parked in front of the company and I was surprised when Daruel got out of there.
He quickly got down from his car with an umbrella.
"How are you?" He asked as he caught his breath from running.
"I'm good," I replied sparingly, "did you pass by?"
