Chapter 21
I continued to cry as I sat on the edge of the reception area.
"Anna stay..." Stephanie said while stroking my back.
"Believe me Stephanie. I can't do that," I said sadly.
I don't know where I'll pick up after this. I have nothing to face Thea, I know she is kind but I am ashamed because I know I have no job.
How can I find justice for my family?
How about me?
I just kept on crying, the weight of how I felt, my mind was confused, I wanted to get lost because of that incident but I knew there was nothing I could do.
"Anna, I'll go first. Maybe my family is already looking for me. Be careful," Stephanie said, we're out of work. I just nodded and he started to leave.
I got up from my seat and stared again at the high-rise Bay Leaf hotel.
I cried even more because I knew it was my last job here.
I walked down the side of the road selflessly. I don't know where I'm going but I only know one thing, I don't want to go home yet because I want to vent my resentment
