Chapter 97: Wedding Preparation

Jacob was excited to see his lovely soon-to-be in-laws—the people who care about him—on their first meeting and showed a lot of concern over him and his family affairs. Emma, however, was uncomfortable because of the video that everyone watched about the proposal, including her parents. Her parents, especially her mother, were extremely happy for their daughter and were ready to welcome their soon-to-be son-in-law. Jacob's parents, on the other hand, were just anxious to hear from their son that he was ready to get married and had fixed the date for the wedding so they could take up the responsibility from there. Jacob and Mark came to Emma's abode. "Hey baby, Mark and I are ready to go; aren't you ready? Jacob asked while he was still standing. Emma rushed down to the sitting room and said, "I will be done in five minutes." She greeted Mark with some respect and lightly hugged Jacob, "Good morning, dear." "Good morning, Emma," Mark responded while holding Madison's hands.
