Olivia heard a series of beeps, like a timer counting down. Her eyes shifted to something near the door. Just then, Tyler spoke again. "Leave. Now." But instead of leaving, Olivia ran toward him. She stopped in front of him and looked down at his legs. Then she glanced at the ticking device by the door. She stared at it for two or three seconds before looking back at Tyler. She wanted to speak, but no words came out. It felt like time had stopped, and every sound was amplified. Even the rustle of branches outside made Olivia's heart jump. She asked in a quiet voice, "What… should I do?" She raised her head, staring at him. Hearing her question, Tyler retorted, "Who told you to come? Shouldn't you be at Sandalwood Palace?!"
