CLAUDIA. Nothing feels real anymore. Things have stopped feeling real for a while now, especially since after Hyperion died in front of me. Maybe it’s the after effects of the potion that Kiernan gave me. Maybe it’s grief and shock mixed into a terrible poison that’s stopping my brain from processing anything right now. But either way, when Achilles showed up seemingly out of nowhere, things take an even more unrealistic turn. Add that to him fighting Benjamin, who turns out to have black blood like a Rogue. And now, that blood is curdling on the floor after he just slit his throat in front of us. I’m still staring at the spot even as Achilles and Carlos start to move in urgency around me. Carlos rushes toward Benjamin, his face contorted in disgust and contempt, but I don’t manage to see what he does next because Achilles turns around, scoops me in his arms, and takes me away from the scene. I find myself staring, staring, staring… with no clear thought in mind, no strong emotion
