Alpha Jaxon's POV "Astrid!" I growled in almost absolute panic as I saw her cough out blood. Astrid swayed and then her eyes fell shut and when I caught her it was barely in time for me to save her from landing in the bare ground. She looked so pale and weak in my arms with her shirt bloodstained and her body limp. "Astrid, stay with me!" I yelled out to her but still she remained still. I have never been more scared in my entire life. I lifted her up and stepped out of the room intending to go looking for the hospital before realizing that this was a new territory where my knowledge was limited. Balancing Astrid in my hands, I walked back inside the room and reached for the bell that Priscilla had asked me to use to summon her in case of any emergency.
