I stand behind the alpha as I hide my cheek behind my hair. It’s not the first time this has happened, however he left a pretty big bruise on me today. I see the alpha of Denera as we walk in and I bow down to him as he looks at me and nods. “You’re late today Terran,” Viarthe, Denera’s alpha, pointed out and I flinch. “Don’t even talk about it,” the alpha said as he sat down on the chair right across Viarthe. The table had 11 seats in total and 1 seat is situated at the end of the long table. The previous Verum leader has died of unknown reasons and they will reveal the new leader today.
