"Stop that," Marcus said and patted the little girl on her cheek. He then gently set her down. "Go to your mother," Marcus said, patting the little girl on her back, who made a beeline for the inside of the house.
"I know that, which is why you need someone to talk to you like this, Diana. If we leave and the Alpha doesn't know, we would be breaking pack law. If the Alpha says not to go and we go, we would be breaking pack law. Do I need to remind you how important this is? You know not everybody has the same privileges you do, Luna," Marcus said, calling my name as he walked closer and grabbed my shoulders.
