My mouth was hanging open after he said those words.
"No," I said after a moment. Unfortunately, he was already walking away.
"Riley!" I ran out of the open cell until I met him and stood in front of him.
"Don't. Please. I beg you. Leave them alone. Many of them are innocent. Many of them have never done anything to me or Omegas like me. It's not their fault." I pleaded with him and grabbed his arm.
He yanked his arm hard out of my grasp, sending me flying several feet and smacking my back on the wall. "Uh!" I clutched my back in pain as I struggled to my feet with only one thing on my mind.
"Riley. Please." I crawled over to him and stood up eventually.
"Please don't hurt them. They've already gone through so much since the last time you did. Please, I don't think they can take another war. Please leave them alone, Riley. I beg you for the sake of the Moon Goddess."
