Chapter 41: Run, Luna, Run

The wolves around me didn't look good. Most of them were missing an eye or an ear. By the time the majority of them shifted, they were just as mad-looking as their wolf counterparts.
"What do you want with me?" I asked.
The largest one stood up, scars covering his face. "Why don't we play a little game," he said, showing me a mouthful of yellow, sharp teeth.
"Run, Luna, run." He growled, causing me to instantly run in any direction.
I ran for what felt like five minutes before stopping, panting, and trying to get a better idea of where I was.
Thinking about something I read in a book, I climbed the nearest tree, hoping it was the tallest.
"Stupid dress," I cursed, as my dress made it very difficult, but I kept going nonetheless.
As soon as I reached the top of the tree, I looked around. Only the moon stood isolated in the sky.
"Moon Goddess, what do you want from me? Why do you have to make this so difficult?" I asked in a very silent voice, afraid to let the wind
