For the next few days, I didn't pay any attention to Axel and Robert’s case. Instead, I and Karl put more effort into searching for the missing kids, but everything we tried proved abortive.
“How is she? Are there any changes?” I asked Damian immediately I set my eyes on him.
Apart from searching for clues on the missing kids, another thing I did was visit Diana everyday. There, I would tell her stories of how far we had come together. Damian had recommended it. He said her subconscious could be somewhere close within her and perhaps telling her stories could bring her back.
I had just told the maid in charge of tending to Diana to excuse me and I was massaging her body so they wouldn't go stiff.
“I am sorry, Alpha. But there are no changes.” Damian apologized and I looked up at him.
“Nothing at all?” I asked, trying to keep my anger at bay. He wasn't the one at fault, and I can't hold him responsible for her condition.
