Chapter 118: False Alarm
Diana
Now alone, I sat and closed my eyes. "This space belongs to me," I said over and over again. Even when I felt the defiance inside me, I shut it down.
"Quiet, Diana," I whispered and then rubbed my belly. After staying there for quite a while, I felt I was done and opened my eyes.
"What is going on here?" Sky was leaning over me with a worried expression on his face. His eyes suddenly filled with tears as he pulled me to his chest.
"I thought something had happened to you," he growled into my hair.
"Nothing happened," I said. "Ask Damian. We were just practicing and training." I let him rub my back comfortingly.
"I couldn't hear you," he said. "I tried to talk to you through the bond, but I couldn't hear you. It was as though you didn't exist anymore, Diana. I had no choice but to come here. I had no choice but to find you," he said, continuing to hug me.
"I'm fine, Sky. Truly, I am fine," I said as I tried to push him away and look at his face.
"I saw him again," I said.
