The Pack, Eric's Tribe Courtyard. Ruby and Lillian sat together, sipping tea and chatting in a relaxed atmosphere. "Ruby, it's so good to have you back. Honestly, how could you go off to such a distant pack to study? I’ve missed you so much," Lillian said with a loving smile. Ruby, not only beautiful but also with an impressive family background and academic achievements, had been Eric's childhood friend. Lillian had always showered her with affection, treating her almost like a daughter. She had originally hoped Ruby would marry Eric. What a perfect match they made.
