Chapter 5 Don't Die
"I want to die," said Alice.
The he-wolf was taken aback by Alice's response. He was so surprised that he momentarily forgot how to react. His eyes, which were bloodshot, fixated on her profile as he watched her with narrowed pupils.
He ran his fingers through his hair, wiped his face, and then parted his lips to speak. "Why do you want to die?" he asked.
Alice, without turning to face him, reminded him," It was my turn to ask, remember?"
He was confused for a moment, but then he remembered their agreement. "Ah, yes. Okay," he said.
Alice continued to stare at the ceiling as she posed her question. "Aren't you scared of getting caught as a werewolf?" she asked.
He replied confidently, "No, I'm not. No one would tell unless I take my clothes off or if I wolf out in public." He then turned the tables on her and asked, "Now that I've answered your question, tell me, why do you want to die?"
Alice's mind raced as she recalled all the reasons why she had risked her virginity with a stranger. She had done it to seek revenge on her family, who had sold her to a wealthy old man named Thomas Huxley. The thought of her past experiences flooded her mind, and she felt a deep sense of despair.
With her eyes fixed on the ground, she spoke in a low, defeated voice. "I don't see the purpose of living anymore," she said. "I would rather die than stay in hell forever."
The man across from her fell into deep silence for the second time, his expression unreadable.
Alice couldn't bear the sternness between them, feeling as though she had revealed too much to a stranger. She was surprised at herself for spewing out such confidential words, but perhaps it was because they would never see each other again that she felt brave enough to tell everything.
After a moment, Alice spoke up again. "My turn again," she said, looking up at the man. "Right?" She paused, waiting for his nod of confirmation before continuing. "Is it true that werewolves cannot impregnate a female human?"
She had read it in a book once but wasn't entirely sure if it was true.
The man's response was measured and calm when he explained, "That's true. But there were certain conditions that could allow it to happen."
Alice felt a small sense of relief, knowing that when the man had cum inside her the night before, she wouldn't get pregnant.
'I wanted to make sure. If I decided to die after this, I would not have a child of a werewolf with me. Taking my life alone is enough,' Alice thought inwardly.
As Alice lay there, lost in her own thoughts, she was suddenly jolted out of her reverie as the werewolf forcefully dragged her small frame onto his belly.
"Oh my god!" she exclaimed, "Why are you...!" she trailed off, unable to finish her sentence.
"I guess you were bothered about last night," he said. "When I cum and wrecked you inside." Alice's eyes widened in horror as she realized what he was referring to.
He then proceeded to gather her blonde hair to one side as he answered, "You are right. A human like you could not get pregnant. No matter how many times I spurted my seeds inside you, you could not."
Alice's face turned red with embarrassment as she lay on his body. She realized that she was still naked and could feel the sword that had taken her virginity poking at her butt. The memory of last night's event made her struggle to compose herself.
In an attempt to distance herself from him, Alice demanded, "Put me down, you beast."
However, he persisted, "Can't we really do it one more time? You wouldn't get pregnant anyway."
But Alice was firm in her response, "No!"
As Alice struggled to break free from his grasp, the man eventually released her. She quickly grabbed the nearby blanket and wrapped it around her body, feeling vulnerable and exposed.
The man chuckled at her reaction. "You look like a cat right now," he remarked with a hint of amusement.
Alice couldn't help but retort, "Coming from a beast like you?"
Despite her snarky comment, the man's lips curled into a faint smile, and his eyes glimmered with mischief. "There is a condition for a werewolf to impregnate a human," he revealed, piquing Alice's curiosity.
"Really? How?" she asked eagerly.
The man simply replied, "About that, I will tell you next time. The next time we meet, I will tell you the details."
Alice found it absurd. She had just revealed to him that she was planning to die, so how could they possibly meet again?
The male werewolf, however, seemed determined to make a promise. "Hold onto your life until we meet again," he said, his tone imploring. "Don't die before I tell you the answer. Can you promise that?"
Alice knew that it would be a meaningless promise, but she nodded her head anyway. She knew that there was no way they would meet again, but she didn't want to disappoint him.
"All right," she said, trying to sound confident. "That's a promise."
The man smiled at her, and for the first time, Alice saw a glimmer of sincerity in his eyes. His smile was weak as if it would crumble at any moment, but it was still the most genuine expression she had seen from him.
"I'll get you food to eat. You must be hungry, given that you sweated a lot last night. Wait a minute." He grabbed the telephone and called for room service. As he called, Alice looked outside the window of the hotel room.
'I need to go home as soon as possible. If they notice that I didn't come back home, I will be punished,' Alice thought inside her head.
Alice's eyes scanned the area, taking in the sight of her phone carelessly tossed on the ground alongside her torn clothes. Her heart sank as she recalled the man who had ripped her garments into shreds the previous night. She couldn't help but curse him inwardly as she bent down to retrieve her phone.
"I don't need to eat here," Alice declared, her voice firm and resolute. "I have to go now."
"But I already ordered the food," he protested. "Stay here and eat."
Alice shook her head, her eyes unwavering. "No," she replied firmly. "Our deal ended here. Now, name your price."
She reminded him of the promise she had made to pay him for his company the previous night.
However, the man said, "Eat." His voice was laced with authority.
Alice flinched at the sound of his voice, unable to rebuke the commanding tone.
"If you truly wish to compensate me, then you must eat heartily." He scrutinized her frail frame and remarked, "You are so thin. It appears as though you may break in two if I were to tighten my grip."
Alice, feeling vulnerable and powerless, was unable to voice her grievances about his rough behavior from the previous night. He continued, "If you make a conscious effort to nourish yourself properly from this point forward, I may consider it as payment, Master."
He stood up, his imposing figure casting a shadow over Alice, and then, he effortlessly donned his clothes, which were unscathed, unlike Alice's.
"I asked someone to buy new clothes for you," he said, gesturing towards the paper bag that lay near the bed. Alice's eyes followed his hand and landed on the bag. She felt a wave of shyness wash over her. The thought of someone buying clothes for her without her knowledge made her feel exposed.
He was quick to sense her discomfort and reassured her. "Wear it," he said, his voice gentle yet firm. "It is my fault that you lost your clothes."
Alice nodded, still feeling uneasy about the situation. As she reached for the paper bag, he spoke again.
"Don't worry. No one saw your naked body except me. I received the paperbag myself when you were sleeping before," he said.
Alice felt a sharp glare escape her eyes as she looked at him. Do werewolves have the ability to read someone's mind? She wasn't sure, but she was thankful for his reassurance.
"So, until next time." With his red eyes crinkled in a generous smile, he uttered the words, "Let's meet again, My beautiful Master."
The air was thick with the remnants of their passionate encounter as he exited the room, leaving Alice alone in the bed. Alice thought that the passionate time she shared with the werewolf had finally ended.
