Mona's POV Tears rolled down my eyes as I stared at Mateo. He was wearing a grin on his face, and all I felt was bitterness. "Tell me, why are you doing this? What has she done to deserve this wickedness?" I cried out. "What wickedness? I didn't tell on her, even if we were enjoying each other's company. Are you surprised that she's been sleeping with me?" He laughed hysterically. "You can tell me any other thing, but I know my friend too well. She will never have anything to do with you, why are you lying against her? She has done absolutely nothing to you, is that how much you hate her?" I sobbed. "You think anything is going to save her? The master saw her with me. It's not like he was told, he saw with his own eyes. Why are you not believing something that the Master saw as well?" He narrowed his eyes. "Because no matter whatever they say, I know my friend. I know what she can do and what she can't do. I trust her so much, and there's no way I'll believe anyone else but her" I snap
