“Need any help?”
My gaze narrowed on Liam, about to retort some witty remark, but that thought died immediately and I realized maybe I shouldn’t push him. He never did this kind of stuff, so no doubt him offering to help had to be a lot of effort.
Instead, I passed him a smile and pointed at the box. “Well, you could help me hang these up. At this rate, I might be here all day and I still have a lot of rooms to cover.”
Without commenting, he reached for the box and began picking apart tinsel. “Are you going for a certain aesthetic, or just random?”
That’s it. I lowered the tinsel inside my hands and peered down at him. “Are you okay?”
He frowned, peering up at me. “It was a simple question.” It was evident in his tone he knew what I was referring to. “If you don’t need my help then you can just say so.”
