Aunty called my dad as well for brunch. So everyone seated themselves. Aunty did not tell anyone that I made everything today. Rohit asked, " Wow!!! Mom, is there any special occasion today ? Am I forgetting something? Why is there so much food on the table?" "Why Rohit, it is the first Sunday we have Priya with us, so it's a special Sunday. So special food, now just start eating this." Everyone started eating food. Uncle loved eating paranthas, salad and stir-fried idli. Rahul loved the food so much, he said, "Oh mom, the food is amazing I am just loving it ." Aunty was smiling at me, but didn't say anything. I was blushing. Rohit, my mom and dad also enjoyed the whole food. In the end the servant served the halwa and asked whether they would like to have coffee or tea. Aunty asked me to personally serve halwa to everyone. I did so. Rohit said, " Oh everything was amazing today. I ate so much but this halwa is the best thing. I love you, mom, for making all this... " Aunty and mom exchanged a look and smirked. Then Rahul also said, "Really mom you should cook very frequently, the food was awesome today, I loved it. I am just too full but I still want to keep on eating and the Halwa is awesome. I love you, mom." Just then the helper served tea and coffee. As soon as Rahul and Rohit took a sip of coffee, Rohit said, " Something is different, even the coffee tastes much better today." Rahul also nodded. Both the moms were smiling now. I was very happy that everyone loved the food so much. Rahul looked so good being happy. Aunty said, " So you all think that the food was awesome, halwa was out of this world and the coffee was very very tasty. Hmm... So your day was made. If you want to have this kind of food frequently, then you will have to request the cook to make it again frequently for you and you will have to hug the cook. Is that ok? " All the men agreed. Uncle started getting up, going towards aunty. But she said, " Oh no I didn't make them, I didn't even go to the kitchen." All the men were surprised and looked at each other... But they had no clue. " Ok, ok I will tell you, each and every dish was prepared only and only by Priya. I didn't even go to the kitchen. Even coffee was prepared by her." They were looking at me with surprise. "Come on Ram what are you looking at? She cooked for the first time as our daughter-in-law. just give her a gift ." Uncle came and hugged me, then gave me a beautiful necklace. I accepted it shyly. Rohit recovered first he came towards me and said," Wow !! beautiful you can even cook and it was awesome. Please cook it for me again." and then he hugged me. I smiled and nodded. Everybody was watching curiously towards Rahul, after a few moments he got up and he came towards me and said, " The food was amazing... I just loved it, please make it again for me, thank you." And when he was about to hug me, Rohit shouted, " No no no... that is not done, you are her husband, you have to kiss her." I was getting more red second by second. I could not even look at anyone I was really blushing very very hard. Uncle and aunty nodded and aunty said, " Fair enough, Rohit is right for once. Come on Rahul what are you waiting for? She is your wife, she won't hit you." Rahul was hesitant for a moment but then he kissed my cheek and everybody applauded. He left right after that. After brunch, my mom, aunty and I went shopping again this time we went to a jewellery shop. They brought many beautiful jewellery pieces for me. They wanted to do more shopping but I had to come back to study as the very next day I had to submit my assignment in the college. I just had fruits and kept on working until I finished my assignment. Thank God it was finished. I just had to get its print outs. I was so tired that I closed my eyes for just two minutes but I slept. When I opened my eyes, it was already morning. Oh !! I have to get ready fast, I got up from bed. Bed??? What is wrong with me ?? Every day, I slept on the couch but got up on the bed. Oh, I must be walking while sleeping. I was afraid that Rahul might think that I'm trying to get too close to him Or that I'm trying to impose myself on him. I don't want that. I wanted to give him time. I had to get ready for college. I took a quick shower and got ready in a beautiful ice blue coloured Anarkali suit. I greeted Uncle and aunty and I told them that today I have to go to college. They said, " Ok beta, but before that, you take your breakfast and take packed lunch with you as you will come very late. " When I was having my breakfast, Rahul came downstairs. I couldn't even look at him as I was nervous that he would come to know about my sleeping beside him. He said good morning to everybody. I also smiled and said good morning. I was getting late for college so I quickly said good day to everyone and was about to leave, when I realised that I have not taken print outs. I asked," I need to use a printer, can you pls tell me where it is? " "Sure, come I will help you." He then connected my laptop with the printer and gave the print command. The print outs were coming one after the other. I was arranging them but he was looking at me, standing quite near to me. His proximity was bothering me. I was getting very conscious. My hands started shaking. He took the papers out of my hand and arranged them in a file and gave it to me. I thanked him and said, " I should have done it last night but I guess I was so dead tired that I don't even know when I slept." He nodded, hiding his smile. Wait, why was he smiling? Oh, I am getting late, I rushed downstairs, when he wished me luck for my assignment. I then smiled and thanked him. I picked up my stuff and left for my college. I was still smiling. I entered college and saw my friend Sia. I went there and hugged her tight. She knew about my crazy crush on Rahul and also knew I was very upset that he was getting married to someone else. God, I wanted to tell her so much but I guess, it was not the right time. Sia looked at me and said, "There is something different about you today... Has something happened?" My eyes widened, I asked, "What do you mean by different?" She said, " You were so upset 3 days back, we were so worried but now you are looking as fresh as a flower. Are you alright? I am scared for you." "I am fine yaar...... let's go to class for now we will talk about that later." I gave my assignment and got a very good grade for it. She again asked me, "Did you go to his wedding?" I said " Yes, I did. " I couldn't help smiling and she thought that I was losing my mind, if only she knew the truth. She thought that it is better to avoid this topic. And I was ok about it for the time being.
