Cecilia sat watching Henry make them both coffee at the coffeemaker. She was seated on the island in his kitchen, watching him do the chore with ease. She continued to watch as Henry made two cups of coffee and placed both cups in a tray before turning around, gently placing the tray in front of her.
He retrieved a cup of coffee and gently placed it in front of her. "Your coffee." He bowed with an exaggerated jest.
"Hmmm..." She raised her brow. "Just the way I like it, peasant?"
"Just the way you love it, ma'am." He replied, trying to work some British accent into his voice and failing woefully. They both stared at each other before bursting into laughter.
"No, that was hilarious." Henry said.
"Please don't ever try that again. Jeez." Cecilia acted as if she could have a heart attack if he repeated his action.
Cecilia sighed, blowing away the heat coming from her coffee cup. She tapped her table for a while and said, "This is a relief."
Henry was confused. "What?"
