“So tell us, how are you enjoying the city so far?” Anna questioned, taking a sip from the juice she earlier poured for herself.
“I imagine you find it rather stressful and chaotic,” Davis chirped in. “Pass me the sauce honey,” he said to Anna.
Cecilia smiled. Of course, she hated it here. The hustle and bustle of New York wasn’t just for her.
“It’s not my style, but I’ll adjust. Or the city will adjust to fit me,” she said and Anna burst out laughing.
Cecilia had just moved to New York and decided to pay a visit to the couple.
“I don’t get it, why New York?” She questioned, wondering why a sane person would choose to stay in a rowdy environment. Sure the parties were nice as she’s heard, but they couldn’t be better than the ones she’s been attending.
“There’s no better way to explain it–” Davis was saying when Anna cut him off.
“You wouldn’t understand until you’ve lived in the city.”
