Lily looked at the man who had pointed a gun at her with a frown on her face as he kept his head down, remorseful. “How couldn't you know I was with your boss when you saw me hugging him that way?” She snapped with a scoff. “I mean, you walked in on those men trying to rip my clothes to shred so how wouldn't you know?” She clicked her tongue, shaking her head softly. “Raising a gun to the head of your boss's boss. How disrespectful!”
Paul rolled his eyes. Isn't she doing too much right now? Perhaps I shouldn't have been so nice to her. “That's enough, Lily. He didn't shoot you so that's something to be happy about, isn't it?” He stated.
“You can't just let them—”
Paul turned to face the man, ignoring Lily. “Why didn't you get her cleaned up? Her wounds could have been infected and she could have died.”
He chuckled awkwardly. “It's just that we're all men and no one wanted to do it for her because it'd be disrespectful to touch our boss’s woman that way.”
