145 A BODYGUARD’S UNLIKELY DUTY
“Never mind, you guys,” She told them as she shrugged off their hands from her shoulder. “I can manage to walk myself,” she told them. She was too annoyed to accept their help.
I really can't believe they're just going to let this go. Why would they believe her words over mine when she just came yesterday? It makes no sense whatsoever.
They barely know her and… ugh! Thinking about it just makes me angrier.
“Are you sure? It looks really bad,” One of the chefs said.
She nodded with a smile on her face. “I'm very fine. I can walk properly.” Although she was pissed and pained about the turnout of things, she didn’t want to worsen her non-existent relationship with her fellow chefs so she had to accept it. “Also, I apologise for the misunderstanding.
