Reilley's POV.
The misleading article about Deavon is all over the news. Being the only son of the most powerful man in our town. It spreaded so fast like fire. Everyone is talking about it. Even my mother knew about Deavon.
"Mom, we're still not sure about that article."
I don't know how many times I repeated that to her already. I called her this night of Tuesday just like what I always do and now she's telling me so much about Deavon's scandal. She genuinely cares about him.
"But the proofs and evidences says it all. You know that Deavon is a good guy, right?" she said in a worried voice. I frowned. Yeah, right. "This might be another doing of one of Governor Ardiante's competitors. A good leader will always have enemies."
I squeezed my phone in between my shoulder and ear while folding the clothes I dried myself.
