Reilley's POV
"I—I'm doing this because no one else will. You don't want to call the nurse and I happened to be the only one who has access in your room. I wouldn't be here if I didn't return your wallet."
I don't want to sound defensive, but me defending myself made me sound like one. His face remained blank. I withdraw my hands from him and walked to the bathroom.
I sighed as soon as I hide myself from the bathroom wall.
My hands traveled on my pounding chest. It's beating so hard that I almost feel like passing out. The way he looked at me. His words and his soft tone. The way he touched me. Why are those things making my heart go crazy?
I washed my face with cold water.
