CHAPTER 29 KNOWING JULIET
Susan's smile widened, her eyes gleaming with a predatory gleam as she leaned in closer to Juliet.
"Caleb may seem charming, but he's not to be trusted," Susan warned, her voice low and conspiratorial. "He has a way of... complicating things, shall we say. And I would hate to see you get caught in the crossfire."
Juliet's heart pounded in her chest as Susan's words sent a jolt of fear coursing through her veins.
