CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY ONE – INSANE STUNTS
Over the next few hours, they put the final touches on their escape plan. Maxwell distributed the last of their weapons and forged documents to their remaining allies.
"Remember," he instructed the small group gathered before them, "your job is to create as much chaos as possible. The more attention you draw, the better chance Cassie and I have of slipping away unnoticed."
Yuri, one of the guards who had remained loyal, spoke up. "What about after? How do we get out?"
Cassie stepped forward. "Once we're clear, make your way to these coordinates," she said, handing out small slips of paper. "There's transportation waiting. It'll get you out of the country."
As their allies dispersed to take up their positions, Cassie and Maxwell went over their own plan one last time.
"The plane leaves at midnight," Maxwell said, checking his watch. "We have exactly three hours to get to the airport and through security."
Cassie nodded, her jaw set with determination. "Let's do this."
