"Ms. Danvers? Sorry to bother you, but...I thought you should know I saw that man hanging around outside again today. He was just kind of...loitering by the lobby looking in, like he was waiting for you." A chill raced down Kayla's spine as she slowly turned to face Alice, a lump forming in her throat. "What man? Who are you talking about?" The younger woman seemed to shrink slightly under Kayla's intense gaze. "Um, I'm not totally sure but...I think it was the same guy from your dinner the other night. Nathan, right? Should I alert security -?" "No!" Kayla interjected a bit too quickly then forced herself to modulate her tone. "No, don't bother security...yet. I'll handle this. But thank you for letting me know, Alice. I appreciate you watching out." "Of course," Alice replied tentatively before retreating to her desk area once more.
