Kayla slammed a thick folder onto Lana's desk, the sound echoing in the tense silence of the office. "This is the vendor directory," she said curtly, her voice devoid of warmth.
Lana, perched on the edge of a chair, flipped through the folder with a studied nonchalance. "Wow, that's… a lot of paper," she remarked, her voice dripping with feigned concern.
Kayla gritted her teeth. "There's also an online database," she snapped, pushing a tablet across the desk. "But apparently, some people prefer flipping through actual pages."
